Our traffic lawyers act for all persons charged with a speeding offence. Anyone caught speeding in Queensland by either a police officer, or a speed camera, will be issued with a speeding fine.

If you are caught driving 40km or more over the speed limit, you will be charged with a ‘high speed offence’, and will immediately have your licence suspended for up to 8 months plus a loss of 8 demerit points. A Magistrate may also impose further disqualifications.

A speeding fine may be disputed in court with legal representation by qualified speeding offence lawyers.

Guest Lawyers offer free initial consultations (including in prisons) to assist with all speeding charges. We act for all persons required to appear before the Magistrates and Supreme Court. We also conduct appeals in the Court of Appeal and High Court.

Our team of Brisbane criminal lawyers are licensed to practise across Australia and often travel to other states and territories to do so. Please get in touch with our lawyers either via Guest Lawyers’ email or by calling (07) 3211 3007.
