Adam Guest – Director

Adam is the Legal Practice Director of Guest Lawyers, a firm he established in 2008. Adam has practiced in criminal law for the entirety of his career which has seen him appear in all jurisdictions as an advocate in trials, bail applications, sentences and appeals. He has represented people charged in many high profile matters, including the first successful defence of the VLAD laws. Because of his expertise and support for practitioners in the industry he is considered an industry leader among Brisbane criminal lawyers.

 

Kris Jahnke – Partner

Kris has carved out a successful career in the fields of criminal law, administrative law and litigation since starting in the industry in 2005. He has worked on a number of high profile cases in both criminal law and commercial law. Kris is committed to ensuring clients know where they stand in relation to their legal defence by making himself available at all hours of the day. He has a strong belief that for Brisbane criminal lawyers to properly represent a client they must be easily accessible and willing to talk through any issues the client may have.

 

Adam Dwyer – Partner

Adam has completed both Bachelor and Masters degrees in law, with postgraduate degrees in Commercial Law and Criminology. He is currently working towards his Doctor or Laws. Adam is well placed by virtue of his qualifications to advise and represent corporate clients and individuals in all white collar crime matters. Adam also has extensive experience investigating major crime in Brisbane and prosecuting in the Magistrates Court, giving him a unique and invaluable combination of skills.

 

Nick Brown – Solicitor

Nick has successfully represented many clients charged with various criminal offences and is well placed to deal with any offence before the Courts. He has eight years’ experience with personal injury matters at a statutory level and is well equipped to represent and advocate for all cases of personal injury matters. Nick delivers outstanding service and advice with respect to those personal injury matters arising out of motor vehicle accidents, work cover claims and PIPA.

 

Jac Thong – Law Clerk

As a valued law clerk at Guest lawyers, Jac epitomises professionalism and being personable in the work place, with an intense focus towards perfection. Jac has been exposed to and instructed on a range of very serious criminal proceedings, as well as matters concerning administrative law and litigation. He is in his final year of a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Business (Finance) degree at QUT.

 

Lewis Hunter – Law Clerk

Lewis has been a working as a Law Clerk at Guest Lawyers since 2015. He is an integral member of the team, who prides himself on liaising with clients effectively and not leaving any query unanswered. His trademark is intensely immersing himself in any matter so he can problem solve at length with both solicitors and counsel, to help deliver the best result for a client. Lewis is in his fourth year of a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Business degree at QUT.
